GENIUS team
Enthusiasm | Cooperation | Development
Yes, we are demanding and have high demands not only on ourselves, but on our entire team.
This is the reason why our kindergartens and school attract the biggest enthusiasts in the field.
Owner | education
Petra Langerová
In my own imagination, even as a little girl, I had a school that was a paradise for all children. Enthusiastic teachers and a respectful team of children who develop together in a harmonizing environment. Already in elementary school, I had the honor of meeting teachers who were so enlightened in their efforts to find all children an activity that suits them and in which they can realize themselves. This approach inspired me a lot.
Over the years, studying, meeting experts and the latest research and attending interesting trainings from Mindfulness, Mindset Coaching, Motivation Course, Children's brain and its secrets in the educational system, for example Project teaching in primary education and many others, I had a perfect school clear.
Owner | CEO
Michal Zuza
I studied law in Prague, spent some time in the USA and then several years in the legal profession. After that, I started my own consulting company. I have been associated with GENIUS schools since the beginning, when I helped them with administrative and legal matters. As the schools grew, both in quality and in scope, I helped more and more until I became the director of the company in 2019. GENIUS schools allow me to capitalize on my experience and at the same time to realize my enthusiasm for innovative education and development of children. I am especially satisfied with the immediate feedback, because I can immediately see in our children and parents when we are doing our job well, which allows me to grow better personally and professionally.
Owner | marketing
Pavlína Zuzová
I am the co-founder and marketing director of our GENIUS kindergartens and elementary schools. In our schools, I can fully apply my artistic and graphic education from the Václav Hollar Art School, as well as the knowledge from studying marketing and communication at university, and last but not least, the time and experience gained by studying and working in Australia or the USA. I take care of the marketing, graphics, visual side and communication of our schools with enthusiasm and joy. At the same time, I expand my horizons with my own work. I paint and illustrate for interesting Czech companies or, for example, the National Theatre. Words cannot describe how proud I am of what our team and I create here in our GENIUS schools and how we manage to qualitatively influence the lives of so many children, as well as colleagues and, I believe, parents as well :-).
Elementary school principal
Lukáš Kohoutek
I believe that by learning together at school we create the future. That's why it's important to me that it's a friendly and predictable environment where everyone can feel safe, experience belonging and fully develop their potential. I devoted myself to this area for 15 years as a lecturer and director of a preventive organization, and later also as the director of a large primary school outside of Prague. I am a fan of pedagogy built on a solid foundation of research and verified by practice, which has proven results in the learning progress of each student. For me, GENIUS elementary school represents a place where these principles can be fully applied thanks to the space for individual access. At the same time, I like the emphasis not only on intellectual, but also social, physical and aesthetic development.
Deputy director
Jana Kárníková
After graduating from the Czech language at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Charles University, I worked for a long time in a Czech advertising agency. From there I went to elementary school, where I worked as a teacher in the first grade and coordinator of the student parliament. In recent years, in the position of deputy director of the school, I have successfully helped implement an ambitious change in the concept of functioning of a larger school outside of Prague. I have no specific pedagogical direction. I try to analyze the class, the individual students and, based on the results, combine the best of everything I know to get optimal results. I like to include project teaching, teaching in nature, experiential methods in my plans... That's why the approach to education and training in GENIUS schools is very close to me.
Coordinator of the educational program
Nikola Faltová
With the children, we were always drawn to each other and the time spent with them was very fulfilling for me. I studied dance conservatory, special pedagogy at Ostrava University and andragogy and education management at Charles University. During my studies, I had the opportunity to try out work in management, which was also close to me. For several years, I worked as a teacher in a prestigious bilingual kindergarten, where I also participated in the management of the organization and gained rich experience in caring for clients - parents, mentoring new teachers, creating educational programs, etc. Combining management, improving the educational system, and at the same time still being close to the children is a dream come true for me. Not to mention that I find the GENIUS Mind training program to be extraordinary and totally agree with it.
Primary school operations manager
Kristýna Hasíková
I like to wear more hats at work, and the GENIUS school is the ideal place where I can apply my multi-professional experience.
I enjoy putting things in order, creating a clear organizational environment and a meaningful space in which everyone who needs it can easily find their way around.
Working at the GENIUS school kind of brings me back to my childhood. My grandmother was a beloved teacher and headmistress who even lived in the rural school. I am happy that I, in my own way, continue the family tradition and can be part of an inspiring school environment.
Psychologist
Margaret John
My name is Margareta and I am primarily responsible for psychodiagnostics of children and sometimes psychological counseling. I studied psychology as a single discipline and I am constantly trying to deepen and expand my education - in the field of psychotherapy, crisis intervention or modern diagnostic methods. The bio-psycho-socio-spiritual approach to people is very close to me, I try to approach children as unique personalities who want to fully develop and use their potential, whatever it may be. In my practice, I work with children as well as with adults, I gained most of my experience working with children during the 12 years of working in the Endangered Children's Fund and the Kangaroo Facility for Children in Need of Immediate Help.
Psychologist
Klára Kruková
Helping children develop their emotional skills and improve their resistance to stress became my goal already in my teens, when I traveled to an international school in the USA. In a new environment, I began to notice how difficult it is to work with emotions under stress. At the time, I wished that open discussion and awareness about mental health were more a part of our lives. These experiences eventually sparked my interest in psychology, which I eventually also studied in English. Already during my studies, I began to focus mainly on working with children and teenagers, then I collaborated with the Locika center, which focuses on families at risk of domestic violence. In my practice, I use elements of mindfulness and an individual approach according to the current needs of children.

Lucie Kohutová
Lucie is a graduate of the Faculty of Pedagogy of Charles University, majoring in Teaching for the 1st grade of elementary school. In addition, she likes to invest time and energy in her own professional development, participates in summer schools and webinars for educators.
2nd grade class teacher
Nikola Vrbová
I knew from the beginning that my goal was to work with children. My study path first led through the field of social pedagogy at the Higher Vocational School of Social Law. Subsequently, I completed a one-year bachelor's degree in Special Education at the Jan Amos Comenius University in Prague. In order to be able to work more with the children's target group and develop my competences, I completed a master's degree in Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. In 2023, I completed the course Respect and be respected, which enriched me with other ways of perceiving the children's world and their needs. When working with children, I am most interested in their diversity and creativity. I like to see the progress that we can achieve by working together and learning from each other.
3rd grade class teacher
Zita Šťastková
I am dedicated to creation and tutoring of educational programs intended for different age groups of elementary and kindergarten students. I worked as a teacher of primary prevention of risky behavior and leader of camps for children. I worked as a teacher in both classical and innovative primary schools. I like to work with the principles of experiential pedagogy and the three-phase EUR learning model. I am the author of children's books published by Fragment and Librex.
I graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Charles University in Prague and am currently finishing my studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Palacky University in Olomouc, majoring in management of leisure activities. As part of my work and studies, I have long been devoted to the topic of digital games in the free time of today's children.
4th and 5th grade classroom teacher
Monika Marková
I graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University and later worked as an English language teacher at a language school. I also worked in marketing in the area of the sales department, and thanks to a one-year study abroad, I was able to practice English and German. During my entire time as a lecturer, I realized that a person can impart the most knowledge with the help of enthusiasm, passion for a cause, motivation and the experiential method. And it is children who perceive these qualities the most. I would like every child to have the opportunity to look back and remember fondly what they learned and experienced during their studies.
Teacher
Roman Shkréta
My name is Roman and I am an English teacher. Throughout my extensive time in London, I developed a passion for education and an individual, personalized approach to teaching.
I began as an online tutor for adults, but I always felt the urge to help prepare children for the future, which is why I prepared summer camps with English and pursued a career at GENIUS ZŠ.
I am thrilled to be able to work with talented children at this school and hope to shape the geniuses of the future. Being bilingual is a crucial skill to have and teaching it in a playful and innovative way is the perfect approach.
Teacher
Simona Tomečková
There have always been two things which fulfilled me - learning English and spending time with children. That is why I decided to study at a Faculty of Education – Teaching of English Language and Literature, which I finished with a master's degree.
During my studies I had various experiences with teaching and spending time with children, either through practice at various schools or tutoring. Thanks to these I realized what working with children has to offer and also how important it is to get to know each child, so that we are able to work with them in a way that is best for every single one of them.
Math and science teacher
Jakub Režňák
For me, science teaching is not about memorizing lessons and counting examples. The science teacher is first and foremost the children's guide to the world of knowledge. It does not bring answers to children, but only directs them and helps them in their search for answers. I studied Chemistry Teaching for Secondary Schools at the Faculty of Science, UK, and now I am a doctoral student in Chemistry Didactics. They have been working with children for more than 15 years and I have experience in education from primary to higher education and adult education. I have the most experience with free-time education and the popularization of science, mainly thanks to my work in the Association of Small Debrujars. Finding a lost appetite for knowledge is not easy. So my goal is not only to teach your children to learn about the world around them, but above all to keep them interested in learning.
Teacher
Dan Sawran
Dan is from the US where he has worked as an English teacher for international students as well as a history teacher. He has been working as a teacher in the Czech Republic since last year, teaching among other things at CTU, however, he has experience teaching children of different ages and levels.
At the GENIUS school this year, he will teach English and history in the upper grades, conversation with a native speaker in all grades, and the children will also see him at clubs.
Teaching assistant
Oksana Kyselova
I believe all children should be treated with kindness and respect; after all, they are our future and it is an honor to be able to help them on their journey as they grow up and learn about the world. their minds are full of wonder and it never ceases to amaze me; watching them think and work is wonderful and getting to see how imaginative and smart they are and just how much they get to thrive under the right circumstances is a privilege.
Office assistant
Marie Čechová
I am a student of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. As part of my studies, I gained a lot of knowledge about the education and upbringing of children and youth. I first tried working with children as a free time teacher at schools in nature. Thanks to this, I learned to work with children of different ages and used theoretical knowledge in practice. I am glad that I became a member of the GENIUS team, where I can help educators make their work easier.
