OUR GENIUS TEAM
Yes, we are demanding and have high demands not only on ourselves, but on our entire team. This is the reason why our kindergartens and school attract the biggest enthusiasts in the field.

Director of the company
Michal Zuza
I studied law in Prague, spent some time in the USA and then several years in the legal profession. After that, I started my own consulting company. I have been associated with GENIUS schools since the beginning, when I helped them with administrative and legal matters.
As the schools grew, both in quality and scope, I helped more and more, until in 2019 I became the director of the company.
GENIUS schools enable me to make use of my experience and at the same time realize my enthusiasm for innovative education and child development. I am especially fulfilled by immediate feedback, because I can immediately see in our children and parents when we are doing our job well, which allows me to grow better personally and professionally.

Founder, director of kindergarten and education
Petra Langerová
In my own imagination, even as a little girl, I had a school that was a paradise for all children. Enthusiastic teachers and a respectful group of children who develop together in a harmonizing environment. Already at elementary school I had the honor of meeting teachers who were so enlightened in their efforts to find activities for all children that they suits and in which they can be realized. This approach inspired me a lot.
Over the years, studies, meetings with experts and with the most modern research and attending interesting trainings from Mindfulness, Mindset Coaching, Motivation Course, Children's brain and its secrets in the educational system, after for example Project teaching in elementary education and many others, I had a perfect school clear.

Founder, Director of Marketing
Pavlína Zuzová
I am the co-founder and marketing director of our GENIUS kindergartens and elementary schools. In our schools, I can fully apply my artistic and graphic education from the Václav Hollar Art School, as well as the knowledge from studying marketing and communication at university, and last but not least, the time and experience gained by studying and working in Australia or the USA. I take care of the marketing, graphics, visual side and communication of our schools with enthusiasm and joy. At the same time, I expand my horizons with my own creations. I paint and illustrate for interesting Czech companies or, for example, the National Theatre. Words cannot describe how proud I am of what our team and I create here in our GENIUS schools and how we manage to qualitatively influence the lives of so many children, as well as colleagues and, I believe, parents as well :-).

Head of the GENIUS Strašnice branch
Nikol Brožkova
A few years ago, I chose a wonderful profession - working with children. Every day I look forward to the spontaneity of children and their world, which I try to enrich through education in the same way that they enrich mine.
I studied special pedagogy for preschool age at the Technical University in Liberec. My specialization in speech therapy was also of great benefit to me during my studies. I was already very interested in psychology during my studies, which I was able to focus on more intensively thanks to the one-year course. I have always looked for a kindergarten where children really come first, everything mainly revolves around their "start in life" and a place where the teacher gets enough space to develop his abilities. During my internship, I tried my hand at working as a nanny, a teacher of classes, and in both the state and private education sectors. A few years ago, I landed at GENIUS School, where my pedagogical soul gets what it needs.

Head of the GENIUS Smíchov branch
Jitka Platilová
I admire children for their immediacy, sincerity, readiness and their endless imagination. From my point of view, these are all qualities that we adults very often forget. I myself have three children who have trained me in many ways during their growth and you could say that they have helped me find the right direction that I have taken, which is working with children. I graduated from university in the field of business economics and management, later I graduated from school in the field of preschool and extracurricular pedagogy. When working with children, I like to use the work outside, listen to their needs and their emotional state. At the GENIUS kindergarten, I greatly appreciate the individual approach to each child and at the same time the effort to support them in their strengths.

GENIUS branch manager Olivka
Michaela Ringmaier
I worked in the positions of teaching assistant, classroom teacher and now branch manager. Why work with children of preschool age? At each developmental stage, children encounter decisive milestones that continue to accompany them throughout their lives. Kindergarten is often the first place where children are separated from their parents for the first time and learn new social roles. They are no longer just a son or daughter, but are now friends, students. Their talent, skills, and knowledge develop here, which subsequently opens the door for them to enter elementary school and further life. My goal is to support all these children and I am honored to be able to accompany them through their first steps in the life of "schoolchildren". 😊

Psychologist
Margaret John
My name is Margareta and I am primarily responsible for psychodiagnostics of children and sometimes psychological counseling. I studied psychology as a single discipline and I am constantly trying to deepen and expand my education - in the field of psychotherapy, crisis intervention or modern diagnostic methods. The bio-psycho-socio-spiritual approach to people is very close to me, I try to approach children as unique personalities who want to fully develop and use their potential, whatever it may be. In my practice, I work with children as well as with adults, I gained most of my experience working with children during the 12 years of working in the Endangered Children's Fund and the Kangaroo Facility for Children in Need of Immediate Help.

In GENIUS schools, I combined my two dreams of administration and working with children.
I like to work with numbers and solving accounting matters or running a kindergarten fulfills me 100%.
As a mother of two girls, I am happy that I can participate in creating such a great environment for children. My children are happy in kindergarten and school, so I can work with a clear conscience.

Head of Communications
Catherine Harcombe
One of my main activities in kindergarten is taking care of parents. I accompany you from the first contact, through the day of entry and then throughout the entire attendance. I am in charge of communication with parents and you can contact me with questions about clubs, events and the normal operation of the kindergarten. It is important to me that you and your children feel good with us, and communication, as is well known, is an integral part of every relationship, whether it is work or private.
Client care has accompanied me in various forms throughout my professional life and I am grateful that I can now do what I enjoy in such a dynamic and inspiring environment and especially with people with whom it all makes sense to me 😊.

I have dedicated most of my professional and academic life to working with children. I have spent the last 4 years in New York, where I earned a degree in psychology with a specialization in developmental and child psychology from the University of Rochester. During the summer, I worked as a program coordinator and team leader at EU-funded English camps for children from rural areas. I am very excited to work with such a talented group of children that we have at GENIUS Kindergarten. I look forward to being able to teach them and learn from them at the same time.

Kindergarten teacher
Barbora Semová
I have been working at the GENIUS kindergarten for many years. I have tried other professions in the past, but none made as much sense to me as this one. Being a guide for children as they start their journey towards education makes me very happy and at the same time fulfilling. In the classroom, I take care of a harmonious and safe environment, which is filled with mutual respect, knowledge, movement and also fun, which is also important to me in my personal life. Thanks to the GENIUS kindergarten, my dream came true and I believe that the GENIUS kindergarten will help your children discover their own potential and fulfill their dreams.

English Teacher
Simona Tomečková
There have always been two things which fulfilled me - learning English and spending time with children. That is why I decided to study at a Faculty of Education – Teaching of English Language and Literature.
During my studies I had various experiences with children, thanks to which I realized what the work with them has to offer and also how important it is to get to know each child, so that we are able to work with them in a way that is best for every single one of them.
It is not only about giving something to them, from the point of view of an adult, or a teacher. But it also works the other way around. Children give me great joy and it has always amazed me to observe their way of thinking, especially the younger ones.

I studied pediatric nursing at SZŠ and post-baccalaureate specialization studies - nursing care of children, psychology and pedagogy.
For many years I worked as a senior nurse in orthopedics, rehabilitation and neurology.
A year ago, my love for children won over my career. I started working in our wonderful kindergarten GENIUS and from September moved to our new and beautiful branch - Olivka.
As Aunt Lucka, I take care of the smallest children and it fulfills me immensely.
That's what happens when your job becomes your hobby.

Kindergarten teacher
Erica Andriantsarazo
I have had a very positive relationship with children since I was little. Their sincerity, joy of life and endless imagination have always inspired me, which is why I decided to study kindergarten teaching at Charles University after high school. The practice and study of pedagogy did not discourage me, on the contrary, they confirmed that I was going in the right direction. That's why I continued to study preschool pedagogy at the Charles University and in the master's field, and in my spare time I led a children's choir and looked after children. As part of my studies, I also had the opportunity to study one semester in Finland at the University of Helsinki, where I gained a lot of inspiration and new experiences and deepened my English.
My motivation is the idea that I participate in shaping a new generation of self-confident, considerate and kind people. In addition, I enjoy sharing my favorite activities - music, painting or dancing - with children who try them and accept them with an open mind.

Teacher Kindergarten Smíchov
Marife Strouhalová
I believe that every child is different, every child is smart in their own little way and has talents hidden deep within that just need to be discovered. It made me develop a passion for childcare, that's why I love working with kids, helping them nurture their little minds. Working with multinational kids in the past made me realize the importance of understanding their needs, to show support in their interests and to listen to their emotions in a respectful approach. Seeing smiles, laughter and joy in their faces gives me the satisfaction that I have helped them fulfill their imagination and achieve an important milestone in their young lives.

Teacher Kindergarten Strašnice
Anna Marie Řehořová
I believe all children should be treated with kindness and respect; after all, they are our future and it is an honour to be able to help them on their journey as they grow up and learn about the world. heir minds are full of wonder and it never ceases to amaze me; watching them think and work is wonderful and getting to see how imaginative and smart they are and just how much they get to thrive under the right circumstances is a privilege.

While studying in high school, I went to a summer pioneer camp as a child supervisor. I have been working at the GENIUS school for 2 years. I thank the GENIUS school for providing us with a job that I really enjoy and at the same time that I can be a part of your children's lives. 🙂

Ondrej Valchar
I believe that every child has hidden potential. It just needs to be discovered together. I try to be a guide in this world full of various surprises and obstacles.
In this discovery, I try to use the knowledge I gained during my university studies. I am a master of social and cultural anthropology, at the same time completing a bachelor's degree in social pathology and prevention and finally studying for a doctorate in historical sciences.
However, I also learn from children every day. Their world is often fascinating and inspiring. Therefore, I believe that we can improve and motivate each other. Together.
